NotesMosAIc ("we", "us") is operated by Randy Marcelin. We take student and teacher privacy seriously. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

What we collect

Account data: email address, username, and (if you sign in with Google) your Google profile name/avatar.
Content you create: notes, generated simulations, shared sim metadata (title, thumbnail).
Usage data: which sims you generate/play, non-identifying analytics via Firebase Analytics and Sentry for crash reporting.
We do not collect: student PII, geolocation, contact lists, advertising identifiers.

How we use it

Run the product (generate sims from your notes, save your work, sync across devices).
Send notifications you opt into (sim plays, stars, remixes).
Improve the sim generation pipeline (aggregated, non-identifying).

Who sees your data

Supabase (database + auth) — hosted in the US.
Weights & Biases Inference (Gemma) — your note text is sent to the model to generate the sim, then discarded.
Cloudflare / CloudFront — static asset delivery.
Firebase — analytics + push notifications (opt-in).
We do not sell data. We do not share it with advertisers. Period.

COPPA + FERPA

NotesMosAIc is built for teachers and students aged 13+. Students under 13 should only use the app with teacher supervision and a school's parental-consent framework. Teachers remain the data controllers for their classrooms' generated content. We do not knowingly collect PII from children under 13 outside of teacher-created accounts.

Your rights

Export or delete your account and all associated content at any time (Settings → Account).
Revoke Google Classroom access in your Google account settings.

Cookies + storage

We store a Supabase auth token in your browser's localStorage so you stay signed in. No third-party tracking cookies, no ad pixels.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and notify active users via email before the change takes effect.
