The Creator Program lets you earn from the games and apps you publish on NotesMosAIc. These terms add to the Terms of Service; where the two disagree about the program, these apply.
Who can join
Anyone with an account who accepts these terms and says which country they are in.
Everyone enrolled can earn, and can turn earnings into Mosa credits.
To cash out for money you must be 18 or older and finish the identity and bank check on Stripe.
One creator account per person.
Which games earn
A game earns only when all of these are true:
You chose it to earn.
Its live version is certified: it starts and works on the web and on phones, by the platform's own checks.
A person at NotesMosAIc has reviewed it.
It is yours to earn from: you made it, or its license allows commercial use and you say which license it is and credit its author.
We can decline or stop a game that breaks the content rules, copies someone else's work, or is a near-copy of a game already listed.
How you earn
Ad breaks in your game. Players on plans that show ads (Free and Basic) see an ad at a natural pause — a level's end, a game over, the menu — after about 15 minutes of real play (30 on Basic) since the last ad they were shown, in a game or in the feed. When that break plays in your game in the app, you earn half (50%) of what the ad network pays us for it. Plays on the website earn too, from what its ads pay.
Remixes of your game. A break that plays in someone's private copy of your game — a remix they have not posted, their sessions with friends included — counts as a break in your game, on the same terms. Once they post their remix it is their game: its breaks, and the breaks in private copies of it, are theirs.
Feed ads. Each month, 25% of what the ads in the feed paid is shared among creators, in proportion to the time people spent playing each creator's games.
What counts as play. Real, engaged time, counted in 30-second steps while the player is actually playing. Idle time does not count.
Limits that keep it fair. At most 6 paid breaks per player, per creator, per day. At most 2 hours of one player's time per creator per day counts toward the feed share. One ad is valued at no more than $0.20.
What never earns. Your own plays, plays from accounts you control, bots, paid or rewarded traffic, or anything done to inflate play time. It can end your place in the program.
Estimates first, the real number after
During a month your balance is an estimate. The ad networks finalize a month some days after it ends; on or after the 15th of the next month we correct every estimate to what was actually paid, and your earnings become available. If a network pays less, or takes money back (invalid traffic, refunds), the correction can lower your balance.
Using what you earned
Mosa credits. Turn available earnings into Mosa credits at any time, dollar for dollar. Credits pay for building past your plan's limits. Credits cannot be turned back into money.
Cash out. From $50 available, through Stripe to your bank or debit card. 10% of what was released in the last 60 days is held back against ad-network take-backs, then released. Your bank or card details are entered on Stripe's own page; NotesMosAIc never sees or stores them. Stripe's timing and any Stripe fees are Stripe's.
Taxes
You are responsible for the taxes on what you earn. Stripe may ask for tax details and send tax forms where the law requires it.
Your work stays yours
You keep ownership of what you make. You give NotesMosAIc permission to host it, show it, promote it and show ads around it. You promise you have the rights to everything in it.
Leaving, and being removed
You can leave at any time; earnings that are already available stay yours to convert or, if you qualify, cash out. We can pause or remove a game or an account for fraud, abuse, or breaking these terms or the Terms of Service. Earnings that came from invalid activity are cancelled.
Changes
We may change these terms or the program's numbers. Enrolled creators are told at least 30 days before a change that lowers what they earn takes effect. The version you accepted is shown in Profile Settings → Creator earnings.
No promise of an amount
What a game earns depends on its players, the ads and the ad networks. NotesMosAIc does not promise any amount.
