Test NotesMosAIc on Android

Write a note, ask for a thing, and it gets built — a tracker, a page, a game, a world you can walk around in. It is not on the Play Store yet, so this is how you get in early.

Three steps, about two minutes. You need an Android phone and a Google account.

Not open yet. The tester group is still being set up, so the links below will not work for a few more hours. Leave your email at the bottom and we will tell you the moment it opens.

Join the tester group

Google Play checks this group to decide who is allowed in. Joining takes one tap and you can leave at any time.

Join the group
Use the Google account that is on your phone. Whichever account you join with has to be the same one you use in step 2 and the same one signed into the Play Store. A different account is the one mistake that silently does not work.

Opt in on Google Play

Open this link and tap Become a tester. This is a separate step from joining the group, and it is the one that actually counts — without it you are invited but not a tester, and nothing will show up.

If it says you are not eligible, you are not in the group yet — finish step 1, wait a minute, and reload.

Install it

The same page has a Play Store link once you have opted in. Open it on your phone and install as normal — it looks like any other app from then on, updates included.

Give it a few minutes. Play can take anywhere from a couple of minutes to a few hours to show the app after you opt in. If it says the item is not available, that is what is happening — it is not broken. Come back later and it will be there.

Tell us you are in — optional

Google shows us a count of testers but not who they are. If something breaks for you, this is the only way we can reach you about it.

Only used to contact you about the test. Not a mailing list, not shared, and you can ask us to delete it any time.

Please stay opted in for two weeks. Google requires a group of testers to remain enrolled continuously before an app is allowed onto the store. If you opt out, even for an hour, the clock starts over for everybody. Use the app, ignore it, whatever you like — just leave it installed.

Does it cost anything?

No. The app is free to use, and testing does not charge you anything.

Steps 1 and 2 work fine here — do them now, then open this page on your phone for step 3. The address is notesmosaic.com/android.

Can I use an iPhone?

Not for this. iOS testing runs through TestFlight separately — email us and we will add you when it opens.

How do I leave?

Uninstall the app and leave the Google Group. No hard feelings — though if you can hang on for the two weeks above, it genuinely helps.
